01Memecoins can go to zero
- Prices move violently. Liquidity can vanish, making it impossible to sell at a fair price or at all.
- Coins have no underlying business, cash flow or promise of value. A good meme or a big caller is not a guarantee.
- Creators, early buyers and large holders can sell at any time. A split of creator fees does not stop anyone from selling.
- Bots and snipers trade faster than humans, especially right after launch.
02Rewards are not income you can count on
- Creator fees only exist when people trade the coin. No trading, no fees, no rewards.
- "Pending" amounts are estimates of fees waiting in the coin's fee vault. They can change before anyone presses Distribute.
- Fees are paid in SOL, whose price also moves.
- Being in a split is not an investment and doesn't give you ownership of anything other than your share of future creator fees, if there are any.
03Mistakes are permanent
- Blockchain transactions can't be reversed. A typo in a wallet address sends fees to that address forever.
- A locked split can't be edited by anyone. Not the creator, not CALLED IT. Check every line of the receipt before you sign.
- In lock-later mode, the creator gets 100% of creator fees until the split is locked. A creator may never lock it. The token page shows the status and deadline.
- Lose your wallet or seed phrase and you lose access to your rewards. We can't recover it.
04Technology and third parties
- CALLED IT is an independent interface. It depends on Pump.fun's programs, Solana, RPC providers, IPFS and wallet apps. Any of them can fail, change, pause or be exploited.
- Pump.fun can change its programs or fees. We can't guarantee that features like fee sharing will keep working the same way.
- Network congestion can delay or fail transactions. Failed transactions may still cost network fees.
- Smart contracts and our own software can have bugs, even when audited and tested.
05Scams and impersonation
- We will never DM you first, never ask for your seed phrase, and never ask you to "verify" or "sync" your wallet.
- Anyone can launch a coin with any name. A coin named after a person or brand is not endorsed by them unless they say so themselves.
- Check the domain before you connect a wallet. Only sign transactions you understand.
06Stats are not signals
Theses, calls, call link stats and market data are information, not recommendations. People in a coin's split have a financial interest in it, which is why their posts carry an "in the split" badge. Market data comes from third parties and can be delayed or wrong. We deliberately don't publish call "accuracy" scores.
07Legal and tax
Crypto rules differ by country and change often. Trading, launching tokens and receiving fees may be taxable or restricted where you live. You are responsible for your own compliance. Nothing on CALLED IT is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. See the Terms and the Promotion & disclosure policy.
